I always think in terms of buys…I like seeing good purchases, and generally don’t like seeing names drastically oversold. Also, this is in terms of other names sold in this auction and general high-end sales. So, my scale is the following:
(edit: I realized I should explain the highest sales a bit)
*: GREAT sale, HORRIBLE purchase at the price.
**: Good sale, not so great purchase at the price.
***: Sold at market value.
****: Buyer got a good deal.
*****: Buyer got an INCREDIBLE deal.
Sales, Highest to Lowest
CreditCheck.com $3,000,000 ** (awfully high for something that’s not “credit card(s)” or “credit report(s)”, though I admit in the right hands, with the right plan of action, the money can be made back as with all elite domains. Still, I would consider credit card(s) and credit report(s) 1 term each, equivalent to elite 1-word .coms, whereas there’s no getting around this being a 2-word .com sold for $3 mil with only 58,283 OVT for credit check. Imagine spending that 3 mil on a slew of 5-6 figure names in this list!)
